How to fix “Stock status doesn’t match your website” on Wix

Your product data and your Wix product page disagree about whether a product is in stock. With a scheduled data feed, stock changes reach Google only at the next fetch, so the two drift apart.

Why it happens on Wix

  • A product sold out or came back in stock after Merchant Center last fetched your data feed.
  • Inventory isn’t tracked for the product, so it keeps showing as in stock.
  • One option (a size or colour) is out of stock while the product shows as available.

How to fix it

  1. Open the product link from Merchant Center in a private window and check the stock message for that option.
  2. In Wix, open the product’s inventory settings and check the stock status or quantity for each option.
  3. If you use the data feed, press Fetch Now in Merchant Center after stock changes and set the schedule to daily.
  4. Turn on automatic item updates in Merchant Center (or with one click in Merchant Guard). Google then uses the price and stock on your product page when they differ from your data, which stops most new mismatches from becoming disapprovals.
  5. Rescan in Merchant Guard after the next fetch to confirm the issue has cleared.
