Merchant Center shows this as “Availability mismatch” or similar wording. Here’s what it means and how to fix it.

What it means

The availability in the feed should reflect what a customer can actually buy on the landing page, including the selected variant.

How to fix it yourself

  1. Check the exact variant and its stock state on the public landing page.
  2. Compare the site's stock status with the feed value and the schedule of the system that generates the feed.
  3. Correct inventory sync, variant mapping or caching issues at the source, then refresh the feed.
  4. Check country and local inventory rules if availability differs by region.

Step by step for your shop platform
