What it means

Merchant Center may be unable to retrieve or process a product data source. The exact fetch or processing detail determines the correction.

How to fix it yourself

  1. Open the data source details and record the exact fetch or processing error and the last successful update.
  2. Check that the source URL or uploaded file is available, current, and accessible without a login or expiring link.
  3. Confirm file format, encoding, schedule, credentials and server access rules if the source is fetched automatically.
  4. Run a fetch or upload again after correcting the cause, then review the processing results.

Based on Google’s help page: support.google.com/merchants/. Google changes its rules from time to time, so check the issue’s own “Learn more” link in Merchant Center too.
