What it means
Titles can be up to 150 characters, and the first part matters most. Google rejects or limits titles with promotional text such as "sale" or "free delivery", or excessive capital letters.
How to fix it yourself
- Lead with what the product is: brand, product type and the details shoppers search for, such as colour, size or material.
- Remove promotional wording (prices, "sale", "best", "free shipping"), emojis and words in ALL CAPS.
- Keep it under 150 characters, with the important words in the first 70 or so.
- Change the title at the source (your shop or feed), or with a supplemental source, then let Google reprocess it.
